In my quest to find that oh-so-heavenly chocolate fudge icing, this one was the champion, the savior and sinfully irresistible. And all thanks to my cousin Masturah for giving it to me. I wanted a one which would not be too hard like royal icing and not too soft like fresh cream icing so this just was “Just perfect”. It was easily spreadable and easy to make also.
The icing is a bit soft before refrigeration, but don’t panic, because I’ve already told you that would be khekhekhe So, let it chill in there and be amazed when it comes out afterwards, you’ll love it for sure, God be willing!
I made this Zebra cake almost a year back for my brother’s birthday. It’s a zebra cake inside, covered in chocolate fudge frosting with some piped flowers on top. 🙂

Please not the recipe calls for Icing-sugar mixture, not just Icing sugar, okay?
Icing-Sugar mixture>>>
To get 1 cup of it. All you need is Icing sugar mixed with only about 3% of corn starch. Only 3 % Not 30% just Three, okay? Okay. So 1 cup of icing sugar is like 125 g and to get three percent of that all we have to do is 125 x 3/100 and what we get is 4 g. And remember this is for 1 cup, the frosting recipe calls for 1 1/2 cup, okay. Now for the 1 1/2 cup:
All you need>>>
Icing sugar————188 g
Corn starch———– 6 g
How it’s made>>>
- Simply stir them together.
And there you have it. Your own wonder Chocolate Fudge Frosting.
