Beat sweltering heat with this quick and simple mangolicious treat.
Ingredients
Whipping cream------------250 ml I used Rich's Whip topping, Gold label, bought from Pioneer store
Condensed milk------------ 120 ml, ½ cup I used Polac
Mangoes--------------------- 200 g or 2 cups cut up in small chunks
Instructions
Slightly mash chunks of mangoes with a folk and set aside.
Whip cream to soft peaks and add condensed milk, continue whipping to hard peaks. It'll be three times in volume now.
Fold in one large dollop of cream into the mango mashed chunks/puree and stir gently.
Fold the rest of the mangoes into the cream mix.
The texture will be smooth and silky at this stage. Pour it into a clean, dry bowl, cover and pop it into the freezer for at least 4 hours or until set.
